PRAYER NEEDS:
Berachah Eklesiastical Mission: Recently approximately 19 acres of land was purchased by the ministry. It is the prayer of Dr. Ralston and his team to build a church, medical center, elderly home and orphanage on this property. The property has one unfinished building which they desire to turn into the orphanage as soon as funding becomes available. The approximate cost for this remodel is approximately $ 12,000. Pictures of the property below: See praise report for update!
Thomas and Suzanne will be taking another trip to the orphanage in August or September 2008, please pray for travel mercies for the upcoming trip.
PRAISE:
Work has begun on the remodeling of the unfinished building which will soon be used an an orphanage for the children. The target date for completion in May 2008. The building has capacity for approx. 20 more children. Please pray for the Lord to choice the children who are in the most need and also for sponsors for the new children.
As some of you may know, ABP Ministries had the opportunity to help a young girl named Keerthana. She was badly burned over 40% of her body. Thru the generous donations of Kaleo Church and others all her medical needs and cost have been provided for. She is recovering well. Please see Keerthana post for an update and more information.
Thomas and Jim were able to minister to several of the Indian people on their last visit in June. They were invited to the home of one man who’s son has autism. He asked them to come and pray for his son and they were able to share the gospel for several hours.
Thomas had a divine appointment on the plane trip to India. He was bumped from his seat in first class (we use standby tickets to travel and sometimes end up in first class, but can be bumped at any time). He was somewhat embarrassed as they asked him to leave his seat but he was seated next to man who he shared the gospel with for several hours. The gentlemen was very interested and asked alot of questions. God uses the humble things of this world to confound the wise.
Jim and Thomas met a mechanic named Simon on their trip. He asked them to go to a local hospital to visit the sick. Unfortunately, the Lord closed that door but Simon invited them to his house to met his family and to pray for them. While at his house one of his relatives came and asked if they could come to her house and pray, while on the way to her house several others stopped them and asked for prayer. It was like a snowball effect and they were able to pray with many people.
